QSAT advisory team reviewing network deployment plans
What We Do

Strategic Advisory & Project Management

Program leadership for mission-critical technology deployments — planned, governed and delivered across borders, on time and on budget.

Advisory that de-risks capital decisions before they are made

Large connectivity and IT programmes rarely fail because of technology. They fail because of unclear scope, fragmented supplier accountability, regulatory surprises and site conditions nobody surveyed. QSAT's strategic advisory practice exists to remove those failure modes before a single purchase order is raised.

Our consultants and programme managers have delivered satellite networks, data centre builds, GSM backhaul rollouts and enterprise IT refreshes across the GCC, Iraq, Libya and wider MENA markets. That field experience means our recommendations are grounded in what can actually be permitted, shipped, installed and supported in a given country — not in a generic reference architecture.

We work as an extension of your leadership team. Engagements typically begin with a short, fixed-scope assessment that produces a costed, phased roadmap your board can approve, and then continue into PMO-led execution where QSAT carries delivery accountability against agreed milestones and service levels.

01

Feasibility & technology roadmaps

We assess sites, spectrum, regulatory conditions and commercial constraints, then translate them into a costed, phased roadmap your board can approve with confidence.

02

Vendor & supply-chain governance

Multi-vendor sourcing, staging and customs coordination across the GCC, MENA and beyond — with single-point accountability instead of fragmented contracts.

03

Deployment & cutover management

PMO-led execution with clear milestones, risk registers and change control, so complex migrations land without downtime to live operations.

04

Assurance & handover

Acceptance testing, documentation, knowledge transfer and SLA-backed support models that keep the platform stable long after go-live.

How an engagement runs

Discovery and site survey, then a written options paper with capital and operating cost models. Once a direction is chosen we build the delivery plan: work breakdown, procurement schedule, risk register, RACI and acceptance criteria. Weekly governance reporting keeps sponsors informed without chasing status.

Regulatory and licensing groundwork

Frequency coordination, landing rights, type approval, import permits and local partnership requirements differ sharply between markets. We map the obligations early, hold the relationships with regulators where QSAT is a licensed operator, and sequence approvals so they never become the critical path.

Commercial and contract structuring

We help structure contracts that transfer the right risks: performance-linked milestones, defined SLAs and remedies, clear change-control pricing, and spares and lifecycle commitments that protect total cost of ownership over five to ten years rather than only day-one capex.

From sovereign networks to enterprise expansion programs, our advisory teams sit alongside your leadership to de-risk decisions before capital is committed.

Sectors our advisory teams deliver for

Government & sovereign

Secure national networks, sovereign hosting and continuity programmes with strict documentation and compliance requirements.

Oil, gas & energy

Remote site connectivity, offshore platforms and pipeline monitoring where downtime carries direct production cost.

Telecom operators

Backhaul expansion, coverage rollouts and network modernisation programmes delivered against aggressive commercial deadlines.

Enterprise & logistics

Multi-country branch, warehouse and campus technology refreshes standardised under one delivery model.

Frequently asked questions

What does QSAT's strategic advisory service cover?

It covers the full lifecycle of a technology programme: feasibility and site surveys, spectrum and regulatory assessment, costed technology roadmaps, vendor selection, PMO-led deployment, cutover management, acceptance testing and handover into an SLA-backed support model.

Which regions do your advisory and project management teams work in?

Our programme teams are based in the GCC and deliver across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Africa and Asia, with field support available in more than 125 countries through the wider QSAT delivery network.

Can you take over a programme that has already started?

Yes. We regularly step into stalled or at-risk deployments, run a rapid assurance review of scope, contracts, risk registers and site readiness, then rebaseline the plan with clear milestones before resuming delivery.

How do you handle multi-vendor and customs complexity?

QSAT acts as a single point of accountability. We consolidate sourcing, staging, freight, customs clearance and in-country logistics under one contract so you are not managing a dozen suppliers across a dozen jurisdictions.

Do you provide support after go-live?

Yes. Every programme concludes with documentation, knowledge transfer and an agreed support model, which can include 24/7 NOC monitoring, preventive maintenance visits, spares logistics and defined SLA response times.
